“ I will preface this review by admitting I've never eaten Egyptian food. With that being said, I thought the food was delicious and this place's high rating is totally justified. We ordered both the koshary and sausage dishes off the street food section of their menu. The koshary was a mix of different pastas/carbs with lentils, chickpeas, fried onions, and tomato sauce. It looks heavy but is actually very comforting and light. There is a vinegary sauce on the side that goes will with it. The beef sausages came with a tahini sauce and a unique flat bread (it's not your run of the mill pita). You can also tell the beef sausages are made in-house since they have more texture and bite than the processed stuff you'd find at the grocery store. The total for the two dishes came to about 30. There are only a few Egyptian restaurants in the GTA from what I can tell so definitely check this place out if you're in the area. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more dishes! ”

“ Just found this hidden gem and oh my God, the best koshary I've ever tasted and their Oum Ali exceeded all expectations. I can't believe I haven't found this place sooner! Everything is handmade and prepared fresh, made with love and pride. Chef Adam, the founder and original chef of authentic Egyptian cuisine in the GTA area, and now that I've eaten here, I can safely say that all the rest are imposters. “ My husband and I came here for lunch after seeing the great reviews. We have been looking to try Egyptian cuisine for some time. We ordered the koshary, falafel, pickled eggplant, Alexandrian liver, Alexandrian sausage and Um Ali for dessert. The restaurant itself isn’t anything special in terms of decor and ambiance, but these are often the places that have the tastiest food. This was definitely the case here! We were so impressed with all of the dishes, the chef really knows what he is doing back there. Everything was cooked to perfection, the flavours were incredible and so well balanced. The pickled eggplant and beef liver were the best we have ever had, hands down! We are still full and already planning what we would like to try on our next visit! It is clear that everything is made fresh and the staff were kind and efficient. Thank you for an absolutely delicious lunch!! ”
